SAME DEUTZ-FAHR RECEIVES THE 2014 MERCURIO AWARD

The Italo-German economic association Mercurio-DIW (Deutsch-Italienische Wirtschaftsgesellschaft) has assigned the 2014 Mercurio Award, dedicated to companies or projects that have distinguished themselves in the context of economic and commercial relations between Italy and Germany, to SAME DEUTZ-FAHR.
The Mercurio association was founded in 1988 in Düsseldorf, at the initiative of the Institute for Foreign Trade (I.C.E) in Düsseldorf and the Italian Consulate General in Cologne, under the patronage of the Italian Embassy, to promote bilateral relations, be a place of meeting and debate, encourage synergies between companies and institutions, thereby contributing to strengthening economic and cultural understanding between the two countries.
The recognition was awarded to SAME DEUTZ-FAHR "for the sustainable contribution given to Italo-German economic cooperation, for the exemplary commitment in the field of innovation and technology transfer and resulting positive contribution to the Made in Italy image".
The award was presented on 20 May in Düsseldorf by the Italian Ambassador in Germany, Elio Menzione, to Francesco Carozza, Vice Chairman of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR, who commented: "We are very proud to have received the 2014 Mercurio Award that represents a recognition of the investment in recent years by our company in research and development and product innovation as a whole".
