DEUTZ-FAHR is expanding its presence in northern Germany through Clemens Hoping GmbH: a strategy open to new opportunities that enhance performance

June 26, 2026

Market developments call for a swift response, a principle that guides the development of the DEUTZ-FAHR network. The brand, a long-established tractor manufacturer with a strong ‘Made in Germany’ industrial heritage, has recently signed a new partnership agreement with Clemens Hoping GmbH with the aim of ensuring a widespread presence and ongoing support for end customers.

The parent company’s commercial strategy focuses on creating synergies with dynamic, growth-oriented partners. DEUTZ-FAHR’s approach emphasises the flexibility and initiative of individual dealers in developing commercial potential in their local areas. This approach has enabled the company to respond swiftly to changes in the sector at European level, whilst maintaining a focus on operational results. The German market, in particular, plays a central role, accounting for almost 20 % of the total volume of the tractor industry in Europe.

The agreement with Clemens Hoping is based on a shared vision, focused on strong partnerships and the achievement of concrete objectives.

“Our aim is to consolidate DEUTZ-FAHR’s double-digit market share in the region,” commented Alessandro Sapio, managing director and spokesperson for the management of SAME DEUTZ-FAHR Deutschland GmbH. “To achieve this, it is essential that we fully share the brand’s values with our partners: we offer cutting-edge technology and a constant drive for innovation, elements that must go hand in hand with a high level of professionalism within the network. Only by combining these factors can we successfully meet the challenges posed by the agricultural mechanisation market.”

Clemens Hoping GmbH is a well-established family-run business now in its fifth generation, with roots dating back to 1897; its headquarters are in Bakum, Lower Saxony. The company has recently completed the acquisition of its long-standing competitor, August Bruns Landmaschinen GmbH, a move that brings the total workforce to around 280 employees spread across nine sites, thereby consolidating its leadership in the sales region. DEUTZ-FAHR has chosen to partner with Clemens Hoping due to the professionalism and extensive regional coverage it is able to provide, thanks to an investment that includes four additional sites in Cloppenburg, Aurich, Bosel and Haren, the expansion of the DEUTZ-FAHR brand to the sites in Uplengen and Badbergen, as well as its established presence at the main headquarters in Bakum. This partnership will enable the company to capitalise on significant commercial synergies and position the DEUTZ-FAHR range as the benchmark for high power and cutting-edge technology across the entire region.

“We are proud to represent DEUTZ-FAHR, which is synonymous with innovation in the agricultural sector,” commented Clemens Hoping. “Our substantial investment has enabled us to become partners with a company that embodies ‘Made in Germany’ excellence, marking a significant step forward in our growth plans and strengthening our team with a further 122 staff members, four branches and over 65 service vehicles.”

The introduction of these key commercial facilities and the simultaneous increase in the number of sales outlets across the region represent a crucial step in the process of optimising services for DEUTZ-FAHR customers. The expansion of the distribution network is not merely driven by commercial growth, but aims to organise after-sales support and technical assistance even more efficiently. Thanks to the new partner’s extensive reach and solid experience, agricultural professionals can count on genuine local support, faster response times and specialist advice, confirming the brand’s commitment to placing customer needs at the heart of its growth strategy.
